• 6 oz. of Spaghetti
  • 2 heaped tablespoon
  • Half red Onion, possibly PGI Tropea Onion
  • 2 oz of cherry tomatoes sauce
  • Salt as needed
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil as needed


  • Finely slice the onion and put it in a pan with a little extra virgin olive oil
  • Brown the onion
  • Add the cherry tomatoes sauce and simmer over low heat for about 4 minutes
  • Once the sauce is ready, add the TuttoCalabria’s Nduja, turn the stove off, stir gently everything and let stand
  • Boil the water, add the salt and later put in the spaghetti
  • While the pasta cooks, take a ladle of cooking water and add it in the pan with the cherry tomato sauce
  • Drain the spaghetti a couple of minutes before cooking time
  • Finish cooking the spaghetti in the pan with the sauce
  • Once the spaghetti are ready, plating them with leaf of basil and a teaspoon of TuttoCalabria ‘Nduja
