Trofie with pesto and porcini mushrooms

Ingredients for 4 people:

  • 350 g. of trofie
  • 150 gr. Of Pesto with Porcini Mushrooms TuttoCalabria
  • 5 slices of dried porcini mushrooms TuttoCalabria
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt


Heat the water in which we will cook the pasta later. Soak the porcini mushrooms in hot water for five minutes (before the water reaches boiling). After five minutes, cut the porcini mushrooms into strips or small pieces, depending on your preferences.

Once the water has reached the boil, add the salt and throw in the Trofie.

In the meantime, put the garlic in a pan with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Fry the garlic until it turns golden in color and at this point we add the finely chopped porcini mushrooms and continue cooking over low heat for another 2 minutes. Finally add the Tuttocalabria Porcini Mushroom Pesto, heat everything for a minute, mixing well.

Drain the trofie al dente and pass them directly into the pan with the pesto.
