Chicken with Calabrian Hot honey

  • Chicken breast
  • Mixed vegetables (peppers, onions, courgettes, carrots, etc.)
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Vinegar
  • MielHOT
  • Garlic
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt
  • Sesame seeds

  1. Preparation of sous vide vegetables
  2. We cut the vegetables into cubes or slices and place them in a vacuum bag.
  3. Prepare a mixture of extra virgin olive oil, vinegar, spicy honey and chopped garlic and pour it into the bag with the vegetables.
  4. We vacuum seal the bag and leave the vegetables to "cook" in osmosis in the marinade for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Cooking the chicken:
  6. We cut the chicken breast into cubes and cook it in a pan with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice and salt. During the last few minutes of cooking, add the spicy honey to the chicken and continue to cook until the chicken is caramelized and golden brown.
  7. In the same pan as the chicken, add the sesame seeds and toast them lightly.
  8. We remove the vegetables from the vacuum bag and add them to the pan with the sesame, mixing well to flavor them.
  9. Place the caramelized chicken on a serving plate and place the vegetables next to it.
  10. If desired, we can garnish with an additional drizzle of spicy honey and a few leaves of fresh parsley for a touch of freshness. A dish that will conquer everyone with its unique combination of sweet and spicy. Enjoy your meal!
